We celebrated our fifth anniversary with Anna Popek, Olivier Janiak, Urszula Dudziak and Joseph Seeletso. Special guest at the meeting was a world traveler Elżbieta Dzikowska. Celebrities confronted with a Japanese Teppanyaki style of cooking, and also had the opportunity to enjoy our special anniversary menu. It's nice for us to inform you that on 24.10.2008 Papaya restaurant has won once again the monthly Warsaw Insider prize in the category of "Best Date Restaurant".
PAPAYA's Second Birthday

On 10th March we joyously celebrated the second birthday of the PAPAYA RESTAURANT. The event was hosted by well-known journalists: Dorota Wellman and Marcin Prokop who introduced the guests to the traditions of the cuisine of the Far East.

The celebrations were joined by many Polish celebrities: Piotr Rubik and Agata Paskudzka, Krzysztof Tyniec, Rafał Olbrychski, Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska, Zofia Czernicka, Andrzej Krzywy, Dariusz Szpakowski, Majka Jeżowska, Hanna Bakuła, Katarzyna Obara, Grażyna Strachota.
The event was full of attractions. Our guests particularly enjoyed the 'Carving Championship' in which the most beautiful carving was awarded with the prize sponsored by ITAKA Travel Agency. During the wine tasting organised by Centrum Wina (Wine Centre), our guests could watch a special show aroud the Japanese grill – Teppanyaki. A Thai Teppanyaki chef, preparing dishes on the hot stove, put on a real culinery show.

Child friendly PAPAYA

Since 1st March, 2008 our restaurant offers a play area for children. It is supervised by our activity leader who reads to children and organises games and activities for them. For our young guests we have also prepared a special children's menu. We invite every Sunday from 13.00 to 17.00.

Fresh oysters at the PAPAYA RESTAURANT

Our restaurant has had an aquarium with alive oysters installed. We are the first and – so far – the only restaurant in the area, serving fresh oyters every day. You can select the seafood yourself and eat it freshly cooked by our chef. We cordially invite everyone!
